I started personal training in 2016 almost by accident. I hadn’t stepped foot inside of a gym before enrolling in the Certificate III and IV in Fitness but soon realised it’s a lot of fun. I’ve become pretty good at helping people who, like me, also haven’t previously been interested in exercise/the gym as well as helping those who have been in the gym for a while refine their training to achieve their primary goal.
I’ve worked in a few different gyms, having run regular group classes with 20+ people of varying fitness levels and experience. I’m able to adjust a class to each person, modifying the intensity or difficulty to suit all. I’ve trained people 1-1, and worked with couples and friends as either 2-1 or 3-1.
My clientele has included people from 10-90 years old, shift workers, office workers, stay at home parents, people with disability, retirees, football players, farmers, and people who’ve never touched a dumbbell as well as those with years of training.
Whether you don’t have a set goal or you’re looking to PB in a 10km run, build strength or learn how to move your body better, I am confident I’ll be able to help you. When you train with me, we are 100% focused on you and what you want from your movement and physical activity.

My training
I played team sports growing up - basketball, soccer, cricket, football. As an adult I started running and doing triathlons and lifting weights to complement those. The tougher fitness achievements I have completed are the Geelong Half Ironman (1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and 21.1km run) and doing a 75km run in ~6.5 hours.
I was training for the Norseman when I caught covid in 2022 which has affected my fitness substantially. It has taken me into 2025 to improve my fitness from walking twice a week for 10 minutes to being functionally fit and strong enough to demonstrate any exercise you’ll need me to show you!
The improvement continues… slowly.
The Studio
Special thanks go to Don from ‘A Tiny Studio’ for allowing me to use his space.
The gym is cosy, warm, and private.
The beautiful windows provide bright natural light, but there are also curtains if you prefer full privacy from people walking by.
Packed into this special private studio are:

Enough weights for all but the strongest of the strong - 2x bodyweight (or more) lifts are possible

Plenty of floor space, both rubber matted and a turf strip for sliders and a sled

Adjustable cables to modify exercises to your height

TRX, dip bars and a pullup bar for calisthenics workouts

Adjustable benches, dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, blocks, a swiss ball, and I’m sure there’s more I’m not mentioning!

Cardio equipment: a rower, bike and treadmill
Plenty of optionality for your workout, keeping things fresh and interesting as well as enough weights to progress your strength.

It’s easy to get caught in a lot of the fluff that comes in the fitness industry. Let’s choose some movements to progress on so that you know you’re getting fitter/stronger/feel more confident moving your body and then do a couple of fun exercises to keep things fresh.
We’ll always be focused on achieving any goal you have. My programming is purposeful and fun. I aim to balance out the effort required in improving physical capability with a relaxed environment centered on sustainable progress and avoiding burnout. Training with me should complement your life and daily activities, not be detrimental or reduce any activities you want to do.
